Humor reduces the distance between people making it easier to connect. It can make a complicated or seemingly unpleasant subject more approachable. I tend to think most folks have a fair sense of humor. Many of them even like to laugh (which is very good for you). I’ve found that, If we can make ’em laugh, we’ve got their attention. Once we’ve got their attention, we can ask for the order.
